The Fort Wayne Philharmonic is celebrating its 75th season this year. Music Director Andrew Constantine leads the musicians in concerts ranging from pops to masterworks, large productions and intimate performances.

Gallery Night at The Guild
The Build Guild, 1025 Goshen Ave. in Fort Wayne, hosts Gallery Night at the Guild 5-9 p.m. Dec. 7.
The gallery will display a variety of artwork created by Fort Wayne-based artists.
“We have been a venue for art creation for over a year and feel that we can also give artists a space to display their work,” the Facebook announcement said. “Come visit us on this special night to meet emerging artists and admire their work.
Appetizers and wine will be served.

Ye Olde Christmas
Olde World Vintage Christmas Market and Winter Wonderland comes to the Michiana Event Center Dec. 7-8.
The Winter Wonderland Live shows are Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Admission is $5. Children under age 12 get in free.
The market is open Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5p.m. It will feature gifts that are traditional, antique, vintage, vintage-inspired, primitive, folk art, architectural salvage, repurposed, upcycled, country farmhouse, French country, industrial and midcentury. There will also be holiday décor, a fleet of fashion boutiques, sensational food and treats and more.
The MEC is located at 455 E. Farver in Shipshewana.
Blue Gate lunch meeting
The LaGrange County Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly luncheon Dec. 13 at the Blue Gate Restaurant, 195 N. Van Buren St. in Shipshewana. Following the luncheon, entertainment will be provided by the Blue Gate Theatre.

Under the Streetlamp comes to Wabash with its Hip to the Holidays performance 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Honeywell Center‘s Ford Theater, 275 W. Market St.
The show features cast members Eric Gutman, David Larsen, Brandon Wardell and Shonn Wiley — all veterans of hit Broadway musicals — in a live concert celebration of classic hits of the American radio songbook from the 1950s-1970s.
The group will sing songs made famous by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, The Beatles, Roy Orbison, Bobby Darin and more, as well as perform behind-the-scenes tales, backed by a seven-piece band.

Tickets are now on sale for Christmas Wonderland Dec. 17 at the Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne. Show starts at 7:30 p.m.
This family-friendly, Broadway style presentation features favorite Christmas songs performed by a cast of singers and dancers from London and New York wearing glittering costumes and set in spectacular scenery.

Jeremiah’s open house
Jeremiah’s, 101 E. 9th St. in Auburn, closes for business at 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve but reopens from 4-8 p.m. Dec. 24 for its fourth annual Cheers to Christmas open house. The coffee house will have hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows and a variety of cookies, snacks and Christmas goodies baked fresh from the Jeremiah’s kitchen.
Texas-based modern rock band, Blue October comes to Piere’s Entertainment Center on March 22, 2019 in support of the band’s latest album, “I hope you’re happy.” Tickets are now on sale at $27 each, general admission. Doors open at 7 p.m. Show starts at 8 p.m.
Piere’s Entertainment Center is a 40,000 square foot multi-level live entertainment complex located at 5926 St. Joe Road in Fort Wayne. The venue features a nightclub and stage that hosts national music acts.
Blue October was founded in 1995. The current lineup consists of Justin Furstenfeld on vocals and guitar, Ryan Delahoussaye on violin, Matt Noveskey on bass and Jeremy Furstenfeld on drums.
