Las Vegas-based Allegiant announced Feb. 11 that it will start a seasonal nonstop Las Vegas-to-Fort Wayne route June 4.
The new route flies between McCarran International Airport (LAS) and Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA).
“We are thrilled to add another west coast destination to our schedule in Fort Wayne,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue, in a news release. “The entertainment capital of the world provides vacation-goers with an endless array of activities that cater to any occasion.”
The new seasonal route via Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) will operate twice weekly. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
“We are excited to welcome Las Vegas service on Allegiant to FWA,” Scott Hinderman, executive director of airports, said in the announcement. “The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority works hard to attract and retain new air service to northeast Indiana.
“Allegiant has been a great partner with FWA over the years, and we are thrilled to see that partnership continue to grow into new markets. This new route brings more celebration to FWA in addition to our 10th consecutive year of growth.”
Allegiant offers Fort Wayne-area travelers low-base airfare and savings on rental cars and hotels.
