The Parkview Heart Institute hosted a news conference Aug. 14 to announce its new affiliation with the Cleveland Heart and Vascular Institute.

In joining forces with one of the top-ranking cardiovascular clinics in the country, Parkview hopes to elevate the quality of care it provides to cardiovascular patients in northeast Indiana. The partnership will see the two institutes sharing best practices and connections to doctors at the Cleveland clinic to give Hoosier patients access to their insight and care.

“The people we serve in this region rely on us to continually improve,” Dr. Roy Robertson, president of the Parkview Heart Institute, said in a statement. “By affiliating with the Cleveland Clinic Heart and Vascular Institute, we’re advancing the quality of care that’s available close to home. Parkview’s world-class teamwork extends beyond the walls of our facilities, and we look forward to our collaboration with Cleveland Clinic to offer our community access to their world-renowned care.”

This is the heart institute’s third team-up over the last year or so to bring the expertise of professionals nationwide into the homes and lives of Indiana residents.
