First Fridays to start ZOOM meetings

First Fridays, a monthly leadership growth and networking event, will be online until further notice because of COVID-19, it was announced March 26.

Monthly meetings are held 8-9 a.m. the first Friday of the month. The next meeting will be at 8 a.m. April 3 on “Winds of Leadership … Whose Beneath Your Wings?” The speaker will be Michael Moffitt, special assistant to the president of Indiana Wesleyan University. Register on Eventbrite.

According to a meeting description by Moffitt, “In the intro for this session, I state that it takes a village to raise a child. Likewise it takes individuals to set a leader to flight. Looking at this picture of the Wright Brothers, I can’t help but wonder what impact the individuals who did not appear in this photo have on their lives that allowed them to dream big. Much like the Wright Brothers, there were certain individuals that impacted me in ways that changed the trajectory of my life in ways that I could not ever imagine.”

Participants’ video will be off and their mics will be muted for the presentation.
