All Sweetwater employees who want to get vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus can do so now on the Sweetwater main campus.

The state gave approval for the company to administer the Moderna vaccine to its employees, beginning April 12.

Employees of all the Sweet Family of companies who want the vaccine can get it at the Sweetwater main campus, 5501 U.S. 30 W. Affiliated contractors can get it as well.

The on-site vaccine clinic will be run by long-time Sweetwater staff physician Todd Page.

The vaccination is not mandatory for employees,

The rollout comes after the state recently offered all Indiana companies with 1,000 or more employees the option to administer vaccines to their employees at their own sites.

Sweetwater is excited and proud to be part of the statewide initiative, having the ability to provide vaccines for its employees who want it and removing barriers to help keep them safe, according to an email announcing the news.

For now, access is limited to employees only, though Sweetwater is also making accommodations for spouses and eligible dependents 18 and over.
