Navistar sells RV assets to Allied Specialty Vehicles

Navistar International Corp. sold its Monaco RV and other recreational-vehicle assets to Orlando, Fla.-based Allied Specialty Vehicles Inc., which expects to begin moving production operations from Wakarusa to Decatur in August.

Terms of the acquisition, which also includes Navistar RV operations in Elkhart and Oregon, weren't disclosed. Earlier this month, ASV subsidiary Wheeled Coach Industries Inc. acquired the assets of Elkhart-based Thor Industries Inc.'s ambulance-making subsidiary, SJC Industries Corp.
