The Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly 40 Under 40 recognition event honors select men and women under the age of 40 in the 15-county northeast Indiana area who are helping to shape the future through their business and community involvement. They are leaders today and are sure to be part of the next generation that will make the Greater Fort Wayne are an outstanding region to live and work.

Business Weekly "40 Under 40" nomination requirements:
- We require that if the nominee owns a company, it must have been in business in our area for at least two years.
- If nominee works for a local company, we require that they have been with the company for at least one year, and have at least five years experience in the workforce.
- Contributing to the community outside of work is a plus, but not required.
- We will also accept nominations of colleges and university administrators and non-profit executives.
